Why You Should Trust My Vitamix 7500 Review

1. Footprint

If you're familiar with blenders and how tall they can be, you'll know when I mention the footprint of this kitchen gadget, I mean height. If you have a smaller cooking space, or simply hate clutter on your kitchen counter, you'll likely want to push your blender to the back of your counter against the wall to save space.

With most traditional blenders (see the difference in blender types in my article on how to choose a blender) you will find they are too tall to fit under your kitchen cabinets. Even the same can be said about the previous model offered by this brand, the Vitamix 5200.

However, with the Vitamix 7500, you will notice that it has a shorter blending container. This makes it possible to tuck your blender away when it's not in use.

If you're curious what the actual dimensions of this Vitamix 7500 are to compare to the space available in your kitchen, they are:

2. Capacity

The Vitamix 7500 has a similar capacity to other traditional blenders on the market. It has a blending container capacity of 64oz.

Do you want to have the versatility of a personal-sized blender? Vitamix has personal cup adapter that you can purchase to easily take this from a full-sized blender to something perfect for your smoothies or protein shakes on the go.

3. Features

The Vitamix 7500 offers several different blending functions that offer you the full blending experience while still being extremely user friendly.

It has 10 different speed settings that can be adjusted higher and lower at any point during the blending cycle. These are adjusted with an easy to use turn knob simply labeled from 1-10.

One thing the previous model offered by Vitamix did not offer was the option to pulse. With enough user requests, they updated this with the 7500 model.

Another improved feature you will notice is the blade size. Vitamix has always been known for the durable blades inside of their blenders, but this model takes it up a notch. The blades on the Vitamix 7500 are an impressive 4 inches long each, which is an inch longer than the blades in the earlier models. This allows more chopping and blending at in less time.

4. Ease Of Use

The Vitamix 7500 is incredibly easy to use. Other than the sharp blades, and the ability to heat liquids while it's blending, it is easy enough for anyone in the family to use. There are two switches and one turn dial to control to completely customize your blending experience.

One switch is simply to turn the blender on and off. The other switch is a spring loaded switch to allow you to pulse the blades. The turn dial knob is to adjust the speed of the blades. The switch and knob to control the blending can be adjusted at any point during the blending process.

5. Ease Of Cleaning

I've had blenders in the past that have been difficult to clean. Trying to get inside of pitchers or blending cups that are incredibly narrow is a chore. Cleaning under and around the sharp blade can be very dangerous.

However, the Vitamix 7500 blender is a breeze to clean. Since the blades spin at such a high speed, all you need to do to clean it is:

• Fill the pitcher with hot water
• Add a drop or two of dish detergent
• Put the lid on
• Turn the blender on for 30-60 seconds
• Rinse out the pitcher with clean water
• Store pitcher upside down on a drying rack

6. Price

I'm not going to sugar coat the fact that this Vitamix blender is expensive compared to a lot of the other models on the market. As I like to base price on is whether the functionality and value are worth the expense.

In the case of the Vitamix 7500, I would say that it is absolutely worth the investment. This is one of the most durable, functional kitchen gadgets I have purchased. No more worrying if the food you're trying to blend is too tough on your blades or blender motor.

Forget about making messes, hard to clean pieces, and limited functionality. You'll feel like you're getting everything you're paying for with this high end blender.

7. How Durable Is It?

While I haven't had the Vitamix 7500 as long as I have owned the Vitamix 5200, I can tell by just a few uses that it is just as durable, if not more well made.

Would I Buy This?

Having a high-quality blender truly will change your experience in the kitchen. However, I know that not everyone needs a professional-grade blender for their everyday life. Here are a few things to help you decide if this Vitamix 7500 is the right blender for you:

Buy The Vitamix 7500 If:

• You've had issues with durability with previous blenders
• You want something easy to clean and use

• You already own a high quality blender
• Have a small cooking space
• Are on a budget
